The following are details of the construction stand used in initial construction of my Hamel 45 Gallon Drum Mark 2. Here is the wooden stand with three opposing rings holding three cones in balance. The bottom cone is sitting on the tall oscillator.
Here is the same thing but from farther away.
Here is the same thing but from a top angle. Note the tools in the cones to add weight so that the cones are almost floating within the opposing rings. These were replaced with bags of dirt in later versions.
Here is good view from a bottom angle. You can just make out the gap between the opposing rings and the cone rims.
